I have read my share of fanfic (and only twilight ones at that) since my friend Lizz introduced it to me a while back, and this, despite the lack of any real sexy-kinda stuff, was without a doubt the best written one Ive ever read!!
It was achingly sweet and you had teh best metaphors and all that ever! Don't stop writing!!

I really like this piece... it takes me into Edward's mindset completely, how he could both absolutely want and know he shouldn't at the same time - how he'd ride that wave of emotion almost to torture himself because he knows that he'll always pull back. I really love how you describe his lack of control, the way the orchestral piece he's imagining can disappear the instant Bella's warm lips kiss his... it's a very simply image but still extremely powerful.

I loved the music references throughout! And this: "...he can’t say, hand on still, frozen heart..." It seems such a shame that you can't hear the described music when reading. If only...

I like how you twisted the prompt around; my first thought was actually a shower (with Edward *mind out of gutter mind out of gutter*), but I like how you made it fit with rain and the music Edward relaxes to in his head. I like reading things from Edward's POV because we get to see how he views situations that we've seen from Bella's POV numerous amount of times. Looking forward to more! :D

(When can I pick up Edward for our date? I have some things in mind to drive him crazy that my mother would not approve of...but it's Edward, so she might understand) :P
