Wow im so glad i read this, i have never even though about reading a story about Zuko until... well actually you were the one that pointed it out to me, i read one of your stories from ep and it had a link to your page on it and anyway this story is really good i was like screaming in my head for him to hang in there it will get better aw how i wanted to wrap my arms around him.

That was a horribly epic song-fic-but-not-really. All the characters in season one were so two-dimensional to me, especially poor Zuko, stuck as the main antagonist of a kids show. This was so worth reading, over and over again. That moment at the end of The Blue Spirit was pretty much as good as it got for season one, in my opinion, so this was extra special for me.

I also listened to the song while reading it and not only was my timing really good (it made the reading so ah-mai-zang,) but the whole thing just flowed very nicely. Awesome, kickass, fabulous fanfic.

I liked it alot. The story of Zuko is the most intrigueing part of the Avatar, but the feelings are hidden under the surface, since Zuko is not a talkative character. Thanks for articulating his thoughts so clearly.

I absolutely LOVE the last line "I want someone to save me" was just, so... incredible! It really show us just how much Zuko was hurt by his father, and I could seriously feel Zuko's pain! Way to go!

Wow. This story is incredible. Reading it made my heart hurt for Zuko. I always have sort of pitied him - ironic, isn't it? Your writing is so deep and really touches on what Zuko must be feeling. Not just the general shame of the scar, but the horror of how he got it and what he must have gone through right afterwards. The Blue Spirit is one of my favorite episodes. As he looks at the FN banner and turns away from it, even the first time I saw it, I knew that it was symbolic. And Aang's words to him. I told my husband over and over that Aang had planted a seed in Zuko's brain and that eventually it would pay off. And it did! I really love this story. OK, OK, I also liked that you mentioned that he didn't really care about Mai. But that part was just gravy! Anyway, great job! I look forward to more great stories from you.
