finally- someone else who thinks Allan and Annie should be together! Everytime i watch that episode they just seem right together.

Oh the angst, the angst!
I could barely read the parts about poor Allan being injured, with the gushing and the screaming and the stitching! :O But it was great, tragic and exciting and all. :) I'll be waiting anxiously for the next chapter.! :P

Sorry I haven't reviewed for this yet, I know it's been so long! Anyways, I had left it to read for another time, and then we went away, so I kind of um didn't really have a chance. I did absolutely love it though, it was fantastically contrived and written! Certainly can't wait for the next update!

Oh... snap. Allan with the witty retort. That's what's up. I love the line about Gisborne making rabbit ear quotes. I do have a security question though: did Annie get out of the house completely unnoticed or is she just out of the basement? And give that kid a toy or something. Distract his small self.

Poor Allan! He sure has to go through a lot...! :P You write Allan's way of thinking quite good, him being the trickster he is, and Guy's as well! You've chosen him to be angry and vengeful instead of sad/grieving/tortured like in other fics, and it works quite well in this connection, seeing how the guy (haha) we know could very well be leaning towards blaming everyone else and hating them for leaving him, instead of realising that he might be the blame himself.
I'm looking forward to Guy's reaction on the "he's your son" revelation!! :P Plus the rescue of our hero! :P

You know, just like you, I've been thinking that Allan does NOT get enough lovin' on this show! In fact, he hasn't gotten any at all! :O Him and Djaq were over before anything could even start (and the potential was there!), and since then, the only real female contact he's had has been Marian, and well, cute as they are and how I like to ship them and read Allan/Marian fics, it wasn't anything romantic... I think it's great that you paired him off with Annie and blew back life in the Seth/Gis/Annie storyline, 'cause it definitely has some meat on it... And Allan's heroic rescue of her back in season 1 was just made of awesome! :P
Allan being heavily weighed down by guilt and Robin's way of grieving - also very well done, and handled in a way that I could imagine happening on the show in season 3. Except I think Guy will be more angsty and grievy and alcoholised, but that's a whole different story! :P Also angsty tortured shirtless!Allan? Always fangirltastic!
Keep it up, I'm looking forward to the next chapter...! :)

Wow... you said dark, yes, that was... and, that poor baby! Gisborne should have a hot poker shoved up his **! And, Annie should get to do it. Yes, Annie standing over him, with the hot poker... very satisfactory sounding...

Um, hell yes to the shout out. I love how feisty Annie is. And poor Robin... all broken up and the like over Marian. That perspective is very well written, btw.
