I love this story.

Your storty is really cool. I have problems imaginging and understanding all the the terms of battle moves but you write a really good story. I like Koto. He's described as a perfect gernal and father. You did all the characters well.

First of all, it takes guts to delve into any ONE of the KFP characters' pasts, with the obvious exception of Tai Lung and maybe Po. Your take on Shifu's childhood and the events that lead to him being a resident of the Jade Palace was very, very impressive. Pretty good job on the OCs as well, they were all extremely fascinating and best of all, they all acted realistically and accordingly to the situations around them. Captain Koto is probably one of the best OCs I've ever read about in this fandom; the way you described him was very vivid and where some authors would spend most of their time describing what their characters wear or what their abilities are, you've managed to give Koto a rare kind of depth and soul (while also making him a pretty kickass fighter).

Of all the excellent things about this story so far, I just have to note first off that I am greatly amazed by your writing style. Your use of descriptive language is incredible! It's extensive, yet not to a point where it becomes a bore. Good job with achieving that! :D

Also, I just adore you OCs. Captain Koto especially. You certainly made his character a likeable one. I was, seriously, close to tears near the end of this chapter. Poor Koto... and poor Shifu.

Ah well. Best of luck for the next chapter! I can not wait to read it!

I think most liked Shifu the best. LOL At any rate, I sure did! I really like this story, it has a lot of interesting plot points, ones that are not flat and bland in the least. Kudos for grabbing my attention!

This is undoubtedly one of the best-kept secrets in the KFP archive.. My hat's tipped to your literary marvel; You really have an incredible style of writing that kept me going through the entire chapter without loosing the faintest bit of interest (attesting to the fact that I'm not a fan of long chapters)

I'm going to give in a review as fast as possible cos when I read your story, something came up and I couldn't read your second chapter. I'll give you one later. Sorry. Ok, for once, you really did a good job on certain things especially on the chinese and japanese language. It's actually quite rare for me to see people use chinese language in this KFP stories unless you really know that language. I'm asian chinese from Malaysia and I understand all of the chinese language that you've put up (except japanese). It really befits the OC's that you've done. I give you credit for that.

Furthermore. I love the way you prescribe the fighting stance and everything, the battle sequence and conflict you've put up. Really nice indeed. I'll read up your 2nd chapter and review it. Sorry for being such a dick. T.T

You have a great imagination! This story seems great by my standards (which are often pretty high) and also, I love to read stories where Shifu is actually a main character and not just someone who is just there, like a random shopper at the mall. I wuv Shifu the most! When should I expect another update? I NEED to know, I have been checking the story for an update like, EVERY SINGLE DAY! PLEASE UPDATE SOON!
