I just love this character. you wrote him well.

I love this one. I became so wrapped up that I could hear the tune he played. I like that White Owl wasn't on either side and the descriptions of how he wanted to see how things played out. He seems so stoic even when he is bursting with emotion. It is almost as if part of him is empty. Keep writing!
