Reviews for: The Porcelain Doll
Gnomeish
2008-08-18 . chapter 15
How in the world does this story not have any reviews?

To put it simply, this story is completely and incredibly wonderful. While reading I never felt that the tale was lacking, I was never distracted or tempted to do other things but instead kept my eyes glued to the words, the story easily playing out before my eyes.

It was very easy to become attached to the characters, and the insight you gave us into them and into Doll especially was balanced just right so that it drew you in but didn't bore you.

The development of Doll over the story was incredible and moving, and the way you kept it so realistic, not making Doll miraculously develop things that she could not possibly have and instead using the way she understood music and her remembrance of the past to express things was absolutely perfect. (I don't want to go into too much detail, in case someone reviews an early chapter)

xP I found myself crying at the end of it, and even more so at Doll's eventual realization, which I thought was coming eventually but it didn't take away any of the feeling or depth when it eventually came about. I especially love how you again expressed in a way that was fitting to Doll, it didn't take away from anything and in fact only enhanced the meaning. Which, well, that was obviously the intention. :P

All in all, a 10/10 and a wonderful story and accompaniment to an awesome movie. It's not at all hard to imagine this fitting snuggly into the world of A.I. Great Job!
