Loved this piece. I love the fact that you got a peek into both Mark and Mimi's childhoods. It's nice to see something that both kept carefully hidden. Loved the bit with April, always a big fan of Mark/April friendship. And young Mark/Roger friendship. I'm not sure there's much I didn't like... I would've liked more of a physical reaction from mark, as with Mimi, I believe. Also, I would like to see what Roger himself, remembers when he plays his favourite song.

Why are you so good at this? I mean, seriously.

This was lovely! Very vivid imagery, very poignant tone.

Now sorry for sounding a bit thick here but...the guy Mimi's remembering is Mark, no? Or was Mark playing the guitar? Maybe Roger has passed on and they're in separate rooms, remembering him? Either way it's intriguing!

But it'd be great if you could clear that up for me :-)
