So this took me forever to read. But that's my fault since I was also writing a paper. Plain brilliant. So wonderful and I love how this was developed in a one shot.

This was absolutely wonderful. I love how neither of them was the bad guy, and both of them had some things to work out. I wish we'd gotten a little more info on Casey's background. I mean, Derek just dropped a bomb about Casey being in an accident, and being assaulted (mugging? break-in? rape attempt? rape?), and an immigration scare, not to mention the apparently truly crazy ex-boyfriend. But I loved how they had to learn about each other through thrid parties. It makes sense. Both are very proud and not likely to just spill their guts. Very well done.

That was fantastic! You did such a good job! I loved Sarah and Kiki, and bringing Noel in was great, too. Definitely a fun read.

Wow. I rarely read oneshots that are this long, because I tend to get bored halfway through, but this definitely did not bore me at all. It held my attention the entire time. I love how you mixed angst and humor and...yeah, the entire thing was amazing!

A masterpiece! I love the ending; it gave the story a sense of closure and continuity all at once. And really? Noel? You gotta laugh at Derek's jealousy!

First of all, Casey's show sounds pretty kick **. Like Veronica Mars, with a little Dawson's Creek and Felicity thrown in. Kick **!

Everything was brilliant. Derek's reluctance to talk about his first film (which I really want to see. Even though it's, uh, not real. Ha.) and Casey's estrangement from the family... and her friends sound pretty cool, too. Everything blended together wonderfully - just fantastic.

Oh man what a story. I've never read anything quite like it. I really liked Derek and Casey's characters and personalities in this one-shot. So good! Totally worth reading! I can only imagine what this would have been like as a story, you know? Going more into everything. Yet at the same time, I really think it was perfect as it was!
