OMG, that's so great! I love those fortunes! I'm especially fond of “The kiss of a swan leads to death.” Cuz it's true for both Jack and Norrington! So great!

I loved these fortunes:

“Sea turtles can be helpful creatures.”

“The kiss of a swan leads to death.”

“No soul is equal to another.”

“Leverage.”

“Choosing a side shall be your demise.”

Since they are all foreshadowings, it makes them twice as funny!

You did a brilliant job of foreshadowing and made it funny!

Heh, I liked this. Some of the fortunes sounded a little too blatant and not quite as cryptic as one might expect from fortune cookies, but I especially liked, "The kiss of a swan leads to death.” And Jack selling James back his own plans is simply... Jack-like. ;D

All in all, this was an entertaining story. Thanks for writing it. :)
