I LOVED this. Would love to see a sequel, or maybe one more chapter... or maybe not. I don't know, but I do know you wrote this very good and made it seem real. Possible.

Original and thought-provoking, and a perfectly captured slice of life in this one shot. I know it's something that's going to be sticking in my mind for quite a while.

Chilling concept to see play out. This was really interesting. I like how you actually condensed the events of 12 years into a one-shot without sounding like a textbook or overdoing anything.

...But, it's not hopeless. Don'll take care of things. I'm glad you put that in there.

Wow, that was very interesting. I really liked it. It's a great oneshot, but I'd love to know more about the guys' lives in this strange new world. I just wonder about the transitions to living above ground and Don's interaction with the mutants who become his followers. Great work, and I hope you continue it. :)

Wow. That was a fascinating premise. There's a lot of irony in the Turtles becoming the more "normal" ones, but it's good that they're finding a place to fit in.

What a great story! You've done a wonderful job of setting a tone and creating an environment. I'm left wanting to read more about this situation, but it's so beautifully shaped as a oneshot that it would almost be a shame to write more! :)

I think this is a great start. A very unique, 'crossover' story. I like your idea of blending stories together, with the involvement of the TMNT mutagen. And this story kinda reminds me of the film, "Children of Men" - one of my all-time faves.

I particularly loved the last few sentences about Don. This shows that he's always been the turtle with the skillz. Hehe.

You know, way back when - I wondered about the events from TMNT Movie 2. With that huge dandilion as proof, it said that there were more problems re: the mutagen than what happened 15 years earlier, when the green goo met a rat and four terrapins. But, I never ventured beyond just the thought.

So glad that you did! This is very dark and depressing, but given Movie 2, not that hard to believe, all things considered. I'm wondering if you're planning on a mutli-chaptered epic. Where you have pretty much introduced your OC, Caprice, as something other than a normal human, I suspect you are. It would be sad to keep this as just a one shot; it shows much potential to be a great read.

Well, up to you, of course, but nevertheless, I enjoyed it much!

Sneaky Turtle

Neat premise. This is nicely written and you've dropped enough bread crumbs that we suspect something is amiss with Caprice but the answer is still a surprise.
I guess it makes sense that the guys wouldn't really want the humans to "make a recovery" because ultimately that would mean their marginalization again and a return to the shadows. But are you hinting at something darker in Don's gradual rise to a leadership role? I wasn't sure if that last part was some kind of foreshadowing or just commentary. If it was just extra info it's a little misplaced I think at the very end.
Overall well done fic.
