Wow, this is really good, and nice closure for both characters who have had complicated pasts. They never had a full resolution, which was kind of sad, but you let them have that in this. It's amazingly written as well. If you do have the time, I'd like to see it continue, maybe just an epilogue giving a glimpse at their future years. Of course, Viral is an immortal, so how they would deal with that in their relationship could make for an interesting idea, or even the scorn the two may face. Or not.

T.T Please don't make this the last chapter! I only just discovered it, and your writing style and the way you've portrayed Viral and Yoko make me want to read more. I very much would like to see where they go from here, particularly with the situation society puts them in.

But if you do decide that this is the last chapter... maybe you could write another Viral/Yoko? :3 I never considered the pairing before you wrote this, but everything you put in made it feel very believable to me. This is definitely on my favorites list.

This is truly a gem of a story right here. Your writing style is phenomenal, and I have to say that I really, really love your description and just how you present the characters. They are very in-character, and the relationship between Yoko and Viral is truly believable. If you decide to, continuing this story wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

But even stopping here, this deserves a 10/10. A very fun and emotional read, and I would definitely read more if you did more. Nice work.

The drunken Rossiu alone was worth the price of admission, haha. This was terribly sweet, and it's interesting to see both characters examine their reservations even as they decide to brush them aside. As Yoko realized, it's not as if he's a fish-headed guy or anything.

Viral's special brand of naivete is as amusing as always, and as others have already said, I hope you find the direction you're looking for with the plot. The culture clash is fun to read.

I love this chapter, and every chapter up to this point. I can honestly say that I would be very sad if this does turn out to be the final chapter, this is the ONLY fanfic I'm keeping up with. The only fanfic I have read, honestly, that I have fully enjoyed. You have the characters' personalities down perfectly, and your writing is so detailed that you really can picture it all as you're reading it. That's the fun part. XD It really makes me smile to read the cute bits between Viral and Yoko. I hadn't thought about the pairing before finding your story, but now it's my favorite pairing. Just because of Crush.

I saw that someone on the first page had mentioned bringing a plot into the story in which the humans/beastmen protest interspecies relations. I think that is an excellent idea, personally. Especially with Yoko's "who gives a damn about them" comment... It would really bring them to test their relationship, and maybe even some of their friendships (er, Yoko's friendships, at least) along the way.

After almost two hundred reviews, everything I've said has probably been a repeat of half or more of their contents. But... I love your work, and can only cross my fingers that you'll be inspired by someone here to continue this story. Even if you don't, thank you for providing me (and a multitude of others) with such an excellent read.

I love this story. You've got me hooked. I don't have much for you in the way of ideas but what I can say is that I find your style and ability in writing to be very refreshing when most of the writers here have a very hard time with grammar and spelling. I really like this pairing you have going on. It's different but you've managed to incorporate it with the cannon rather well and for this I applaud you.I simply must see how this turns out. I hope that you will continue writing this story. The only advice I can give at the moment is to follow your gut on this one. It's your story, follow where it leads you. Spend some time thinking about what you think these characters would do given the situation you've placed them in and how you think their world would respond and then throw in some curve balls and cause some conflict that over the rest of the story will be resolved, like society's and their friends/comrades reactions to their relationship and the possibility of having children and the headaches that could cause. But, like I said, this is your story, take it where it leads you. Good luck and God bless.

my suggestion for a direction to take this in is with not so much a war but an uprising of "humans against interspecies relations" or something of the like.
lets say, just a thought, that maybe viral wasn't the only beastman experiencing these changes? that if at first it started out as a reaction like radiation only with spiral energy but then changed into a sort of infection. perhaps once viral reaches the peak of his change-that change triggers an evolutionary reaction and starts spreading to the other beastman within his apartment complex, and from them to other beastman. and then that reaction causes different incidences, like beastmen within human workplaces start causing problems like when viral first started changing and needed anger management.
that in itself could cause an uprising of humans against beastmen, but any sign of a deeper relationship between viral and yoko would be the trigger to a domino effect of threats and terrorist acts against beastmen... and then theres an even better plot to work with.

im sure thats something you can ponder on and work into your story, there is just so much space for it to actually flow together. but i seriously think you should continue this fic, it really has an enormous potential of becoming greater and a longer lasting fic. ive enjoyed it so far but ill be way to sad to see it end, so please contimplate this idea, you could even look to the anime code geass for alittle bit of inspiration, it actually helped me come up with an idea of where you could take this fic. plus, i dont think anyone wants you to end it before the juicy parts of viral and yokos relationship, after all her relationships within the anime and this fic keep getting interrupted by either war or bored fic writers :]

I never, ever thought that Viral could be cute in any situation ever, but this fic has proved me so wrong. He's just adorable in this whole thing. It makes me smile.
