I love this. You really have an amazing grasp on this pairing.

You have a delightful flow to your words. Everything seems to progress naturally without ever sounding awkward, and the detail paints a nice picture without ever seeming purple (I've always had a problem with that while trying to write anything serious, so my hat is off to you). It's also nice to see angst that's well-done and has an entirely reasonable source instead of being contrived.

A++. :D

Beautiful.

The first paragraph paints such a vivid image of the setting that I had to stop for a while before reading on. That damn paragraph was so beautiful, honestly Anysia.

Truth be told, whilst I do enjoy your normal Cass/Raph fics, I've liked this one the most. You write In-Character!Raphael better than the way that you intrepret him in other fics. I'm not saying that that interpretation is bad, I'm just saying I like this one a little more - its easier for me to see in my mind.

Overall, love it. Its dark, sad, and just overall beautiful. Great job.

Beautiful. I like dark stories occasionally.

Especially like these two lines:

"Her sword lies next to his rapier in the grand entryway, both blades darkly stained with innocent blood."

"It should concern her. It should sicken her, would have, long ago, when she had lived by the warm light of day, by pure, golden sunlight. Now she raises her eyes to a silent, blood-red moon and wonders, faintly, what it says about her that she no longer cares."

Interesting to see Cassandra in that light.
