I had never thought about a pregnant!Marla, she just seems too... I don't know. Anyway. I love the possibility and even though that didn't actually happen in this story, I'd love to read about it in another fic of yours *hint* =P

You completely butchered Marla's character in my opinion, and stripped the two down to cardboard cutouts of themselves. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't feel like 'Jack'(I'm pretty sure that isn't his name, but it doesn't matter) and Marla are who they were in the book or the movie.

It's like you've reduced two beautiful paintings into crayon sketches that don't even have the right colours.

*Wary glance at title before reading...* Oh, now I see. Marla is amazing. Really, how did you think this up? That was a LONG scene in comparison to the other chapters anyway, but it was fantastic. They should go back next week. It's faking but for a good reason. That was a great balance of realism and hope there. Very nice. Love.
