Brilliantly written. The language is practically impossible to fault and your character is written with great depth.

Percy is good. Angsty Percy is better. Angsty Percy with loads of problems and fondness for his baby sister must be loved.

Sadly, this makes a great deal of sense. Percy would have been, what, four, maybe five when the First Wizarding War came to a close? Just old enough to remember it, and what dark times they were.

Another thing that sort of makes sense to me is the Weasleys being on the run; they were considered "blood traitors" and the Death Eaters wouldn't have looked too fondly on them.

Anyway, I really did like this a lot. I was always ambivalent to Percy in the books, but as time went on his behavior started to make a lot more sense to me. His parents expect a great deal from him, his brothers undervalue him (and Ginny seems to have been a bit scornful of him too, which must have hurt since Percy seemed pretty protective of her), and on top of that here's Percy as a little kid, remembering the days of the war when he could have been killed at any moment. What a way for a kid to have to live.

This story is great and so well-written! I love it!

I like it. I'm not sure Percy would leave like that when the war was beginning, but it still seems pretty accurate. I sure wish that this is what happened instead of what did.

This was very good! You made Percy seem so I don't know how to phrase it, but it was good! I love Percy his character is so deep and you know that when he does something there has to be something driving him, something meaningful not superficial. I absolutley loved this and I hope you come up with a follow up story!

Percy happens to be my favourite character as well. It's just a pity that everyone seems to bag him as much as they do.

Please write more, as I believe you have encapsulated Percy as I see him, a thin-skinned, passionate individual who's nature has been twisted somewhat by the circumstances of the first war.

i know you have a thing for minor characters but I never suspected Percy. It's amazing how unlike my prejudiced idea of him he is..but then it's not OCC coz you have no real idea what he's like, only his younger brother's views and the fact that he works hard. I never thought of him growing up during Voldemort's last reign...btw, did you know Voldemort can also be translated Flight from death, rather than the more usual flight of death. WOnder which one JKR intended, or whether it's an accident.

Just one more thing - tell Yeahrightilltellyou to get a life. He/she/it had read and flamed at least two of your fics. If they dont like one, don't read the rest. And they're too cowardly to leave an email address.

Weasley's are super cool! They are the cutest characters in all the books and I think that they deserve more than that! They didn't know that Percy was doing that to himself! He should have told them! But still good fic! I think that you shoudl write a sequel! It's cool to see whwat would happen!
