Why wouldn't she be? They're in a different timeline where the SGC was never created, so Janet never died in Heroes, so why wouldn't she be alive? And there's no reason she wouldn't still be an Air Force doctor, so why couldn't she have been involved in Daniel's care?

Aw, that was sweet. It's a nice look at how Daniel might have felt during that year. I regretted that they didn't have time in the movie to address Daniel's injury more thoroughly, so I like your perspective on it. And the inclusion of Janet is a nice twist that I find quite plausible.
