I'm not of the Will/Liz persuasion either but I really liked this.

It's nice to read something that portrays Elizabeth as a woman with a brain, contrasts nicely with my own ever-ditzier portrayal of her.

I know I'm reviewing really late, but I just had to comment - I really enjoyed this story because it provides a different look at the characters. I like Jack/Elizabeth and Will/Elizabeth pairings, and what I love about your story is that you kind of reconcile the issue. Will does develop some Jack-like characteristics, and to me your story really fits with the films. I also really enjoyed the happy ending peeking into the future - great job!

Interesting look at the relationship between Liz and Will and the way it evolves as the two of them each change over time.

"It was easy to guess what Jack was thinking, because it was usually what Elizabeth herself was thinking in the shadow of her heart."

Love this line about her thoughts about Jack!
