M.. I think Ginny's character is a bit off. Not by much though.

I loved this part

He chucked quietly, "That I am."

She looked up at him, a hopeful expression on her face. "But you're my git right?"

it just cracked me up.

That was beautiful. Truly. Might have even replaced Altered Perception as my favorite one-shot of yours. I'm so glad I read it! :)
I could really empathize with Ginny's need to keep herself together for the sake of her friends and family, as well as Harry's concern for her: your writing was emotional without being overdone. I almost cried at the end - some well-deserved Harry/Ginny fluff there ("But you're my git, right?") hehe. Excellent work!
