That is the funniest thing I've read on Fanfiction for a while now. Your writing and the way you presented the fic was very good, BRAVO!

I loved the comment about the pen name, as soon as I read a TDK fanfic I always see something like XJoKeRs-GiRlx or XMISSJOKERX and think oh great.

But my favourite part of this was the wedding, it was so funny when you added in Buddy Holly and John Lennon. And the fact that Batman and Harvey were fitness instructers made me cry, I can see them doing just that too.

The sad thing is that I used to write stories just like that... it makes me cringe...

I loved it. Made me laugh the whole way through -- and to be honest, you hit the nail on the head. I like a good OC/Joker sometimes (I've even found a few that were beyond amazing), but most of them turn out just like you have on your rules list. Thanks for making me laugh for fifteen minutes straight; just made my day that much funnier.

No joke (or puns intended) this was possibly the greatest piece of Joker/OC literature, and I write them myself,(<-my excuse there to use #13 XD) I have ever read. By the time I was to rule #5, I was crying and laughing unbelievably hard. In fact, I had to stop reading so that I could favorite you, and now I am off to explore your fanfics as soon as I finish writing this. Seriously (now I can't even take the word 'serious' serious.), awesome awesome work. I found everything to be amazingly true and thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

THIS IS SO FUCKING TRUE!!
It is almost impossible to find a decent Joker/OC story because of all these angsty, stereotype, plot-less wanna-be-fanfics. It is even harder to find a story that does the joker justice. Most of the time the Joker kidnaps one of these Mary-Sue-chicks he suddenly realizes after about 2,41 seconds, that she is "special" and that he wants to keep her. It is completely inapprehensible why she is so "special" because she is just like the other chicks in all the other stories and because she annoys the crap out of you in the first sentences she appears. It would just be bad for the "plot" (if you can call it that) if she got killed off in the first 400 words.
And the Joker-quotes from the film are abused! Those writers should think of their own cool Joker-quotes, because anything else is completely boring. Only exception "You wanna know how I got these scars?" because he is using that phrase on a regular basis.

Okay, end of the rant, thank you for writing this, seriously. And please forgive my dreadful English. I'm working on it.

Well, I am. Mainly because I was never all that interested in Batman, and haven't seen the movie. But what the hell, Sue-mocking's good no matter what the fandom.

And it's okay that I'm clueless about the canon, because I wasn't planning on doing a TDK story anyway. :) I tend to stick more the the manga/anime fandoms.

I enjoyed your story very much. I haven't read a whole lot of Joker/OC romances but I have seen some of these elements in the ones I've dared to read.

I like Joker just the way he is and thinking about it I couldn't see him in a 'healthy' relationship or that he would change his ways because he's in love. Bleh.

I have also seen many Joker/OC stories that were just...embarrassing. I can't talk much though. My Hellboy stories aren't that good either...

I just browse through Joker/OC stories, outta boredom, and each of the are like this. Just add 15 more unneeded chapters. It's quite sick how acurate this is...and pretty sad. But nonetheless one of the best parodies that make fun of all the 13-16 girls who make their Mary-Sues for "The Hottie of the Month".

This was great and so funny, the authors notes through the bits of story made me laugh - She rushed after Batman, who was driving down the street in his Batmobile!! (AN: That's what they called that motorcycle thingy, right? LOL.) - I loved that :]
The repetition of Joker's lines from TDK made me laugh too because I have seen one or two fanfics that have done that and the use of other villains back stories for him was really funny too :]

I get what you mean about the ridiculous names that sound like they're out of some kind of Anne Rice novel - things like that put me off reading a Batman fanfic right away or they at least give me an idea of what the story might be like right at the beginning.
I don't mind the OC really but like you said, as long as they're well written then there's no problems!
I can't believe someone actually put 'scar cream' in their story though...I really hope it was meant for comedic purposes otherwise that's just really crap :S
