 The Muse Sway 2009-09-09 . chapter 10AH!
OMG GAWD NO! |
The Muse Sway 2009-09-07 . chapter 4GOOD! FLUFF! Sucks! Okay we all want to read it one once in a while or will tolerate one once in a while but in the end we all want one thing. Substance. Man I've lost reviewers from the lack of fluff in my stories. >_> Tsk sad... but to sacrifice a good story and creativity to please everyone is simply not possible. This story in my opinion has been well written and so descriptive, which I can lack sometimes in my. LOL. This story is so great! I love Terra! <3 |
The Muse Sway 2009-09-07 . chapter 1oMG I read this long ago. I pretty sure I even left a review. Maybe I did, but it's not here or I left a review and FanFiction didn't post it. They have that habit since forever. Anyways I wrote a review raving about the details and writing, the characterization is just awesome, it's easy to read and imagine. A few grammar mistakes but hey who's perfect? I wrote a review thinking this was only a one shot so I didn't put it to my subscription list. To find out YEARs latet you actually continue IT!? OMG ?! I'm so lame! |
Rusty Dillingham 2009-07-19 . chapter 7I must admit I stayed up way too late the other night reading this (at least up until this point, where I'm continuing again). Locke/Terra didn't occur to me until recently, and after giving it some thought, I'm slightly disappointed it was never touched upon in the game, but that's why stories like this exist, and it's nice to see the aftermath of the ending touched upon at the same time.
The writing's done an excellent job of keeping my interest as well, and the plot seems well-done so far. I'm thankful it's not swimming in fluff, as the relationship at this point is being developed nicely. I caught myself grinning a couple of times, admittedly. Definitely looking forward to the rest of this one. |
Kattzia 2009-07-03 . chapter 22I read all this in one sitting. One sitting! I am so glad I stumbled on it post your year and half hiatus! Oh, I loved it.
I found it so utterly satisfiying, beleivable, fantasitic. The dynamics were dramatised perfectly and I loved your changing and complex reletionships between the characters. And the ending... Not so much a smuch fest as a personal, alive account- most definatly as if Terra herself was speaking to her audience. It also occured to me that it seemed much like the ending of a letter... Ironic and extreamly clever seen as letters were a major theme of this piece. What more can I say? I loved this, I'm going to check out your profile for any more gems.
Keep writing, you've got a skill. This could have been a short novel, a short story. A sequel to another book which you continually refer to in the context of your writing. Sure, if I was to add any comment, it would be of your descriptions which may have little room for improvement, but the rest was not short of brilliance. Your characters were 3D, your time phrasing beleivable, the plot line varied with sub plots and the main.
Keep writing!

m0h 2009-05-13 . chapter 22First, I must say that I have been keeping up with this story for years since it only started out. When I started reading this story, I was a staunch supporter of Locke/Celes since I was a young teen playing this game when it first came out. I believed that Locke and Celes should be, were, and are destined for each other as the prime couple of the game. Do not doubt that Terra is my favorite character, I just originally thought that Celes made a better companion for Locke. Since I started reading this excellent story, you have made me rethink my opinion and stance in the pairing war.
I must tell you that your depiction of the characters in a Post-Ruin world are simply amazing and utterly realistic and real to life. The dynamics of certain characters' conversations with each other truly are an example of what a real Final Fantasy VI story should have. Especially those between the two competing couples of the story.
You are truly an exceptional author and writer with a strong penchant for realistic behavior. After reading the entire story again twice in the last two days, I can't find a single conversation that I think was forced or out of character. That in and of itself is an amazing feat; Not even counting the plenitude of characters that each have a distinct personality and unique mannerisms that only add to the realism reflected in the story.
Your style of writing is exquisite in that you add small things that make the world that much more alive to the reader. Such as the constant talk of the people moving into Mobliz, the talk and completion of censuses and land claims, the bickering town councils and plans for the future. All of which add that much more realism into a very real world.
But more than anything else you have done as an author is that you made me think. You caused me to question my own stance and opinion on the Locke/Terra relationship and that is what writing is all about. To evoke feelings of understanding, empathy, and compassion into the mind and heart of the reader.
I believe you succeeded. Let each draw their own conclusions in this story, but I for one have not found a better or more complete Final Fantasy VI story in all the years that has been in existence. And for that I applaud you and your efforts.
I can only hope that my own vain attempts at a Final Fantasy VI story been anywhere near as complete, emotionally laden, riveting, and mind-provoking as yours has been.
I believe that others reading this story with an open mind will come to the same conclusion as I.

Azamiko 2009-01-23 . chapter 22A very nice study of the day-to-day life following the game. Of course the romance was sweet, but it never fully took over, for some reason. It was a nice mirror having her reading the Queen's diary throughout. |
Antoine 2009-01-06 . chapter 22This was a brilliant piece. The author has graced the original game with this exquisite treatment of the relationships that develop after the game leaves off. The author's English skill is superb; I could find almost no spelling or grammatical errors whatsoever, and that is very important. The writing style is one I only wish I could match, as the author really fleshes out the entire world around the characters, filling in all the little details without boring us or leaving it feeling flat. Few fictions actually make me genuinely feel the warm bubbles and stomach butterflies that come with real youthful attraction, but this story is an exception. Thank you so very much, Lirillith, for sharing this with us, the fans. |
SierralaineWalsh 2008-12-31 . chapter 22I so enjoyed reading this fic! there isn't much terra/locke fics out there, it's hard to find a long and well-written terra/locke fic as yours. Hope you do write more fics like this in the future. :) |
espergirl04 2008-12-30 . chapter 22Amazing. Locke and Terra are probably my favorite video game pairing. Great work! |
 CraziAznGirl 2008-12-26 . chapter 22Beautiful story :]
This last chapter seemed kind of rushed, but I still love it none-the-less.
Again, wonderful story about Locke x Terra |
CraziAznGirl 2008-12-26 . chapter 21I'm so happy you updated again :)
It's amazing, I didn't think Terra would confess like that! |
Pandemonium13 2008-12-05 . chapter 20 You really need to continue the story, it's the best FFI story I've read and has my favorite couple. |
