Regarding your note: anytime great upheavals and things happen in our lives it has an effect on us. We do not react in our normal ways and do things we would never do. You are in the middle of so much change, your grandfather just died, your fighting with your father, etc etc...this has a weird impact on our lives and we are in flux. It is almost like a post traumatic stress. Try to understand and do not beat yourself up too much. Talking things out with a professional could help. It is up to you. I wish you well. (Or do what I do and use denial and avoidance...)

PS. I hope you feel better, staying in that zone isn't fun; trust me. I find that fanfiction helps [in my case], so finding something that you love and spending time doing that might help. Being empty is not a good thing, my namesake tends to ruin people. Find something that makes you happy; that tends to fill the space.
