great story, love that cid is Irvine's father

Awesome plot twist! Emotions are flying! This is getting better than I expected. I thought it rather clever how you incorporated the popular card game into this story.

The relationship that Irvine has with each character is very meaningful. Trust between his childhood friends and broken promises he has to deal with. Sad yet touching.

I like how you connected the past with the present. How Irvine is a follower and the way he interacts with his friends in Quistis’s court. Being the royal servant is a harrowing business indeed! LoL.

I love this story. The idea of Irvine having Cid for a father is awesome. The ending was a little weak. I would have liked to see a little more interaction between father and son. Other than that the story was amazing.

Seifer is such a great character when he being at least part way agreeable. I love the idea of Seifer and Irvine being friends. Sadly I just don't see Irvine being friends with Squall's group.

The addition of Fujin and Raijin was nice as well. Keep it up.

Ok, I'm not done with the story yet, but i LOVE this! Beautiful character development, great scenes! You'll laugh, you'll cry .. well, you get my drift.

Read in all in one sitting. Rather like a novel, once you pick it up - you just don't want to put it down. Irvine is amazing in all the cowboy stories, you delve into his head so perfectly.

That one chapter had a bit of a shocker in though, Irvine's 'lesson' so to speak, so I hope Jack was one of the ones killed in the most gruesome of ways. But again, that explains even more why Irvine would be such a womanizer, after an experience such as that.

In short. (heh) Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful (is very, very envious)

Aii! I finally get around to reviewing, and a the last chapter.. TERRIFIC, I -LOVE- it! Characterization is supreme, and the Storyline, and Ahh! Yay!

I love this story so much. I never liked Irvine much but know I love him! Awesome story!
