Oh goodness. Reading this story just made my day. I always love to see my favorite elven princess and blue-skinned man together, and you've depicted them perfectly. I hope to see more Abe/Nuala fanfiction from you. :)

I listened to Run before I read this and nearly teared up - you are so right; it is Abe's and Nuala's song. I will make a video. And now...E! They're gonna be MARRIED!

I love marriage. And after marriage comes...

This was incredible work. No exaggeration. And I completely agree with ShoshanaFlower: killing off Nuala was a big mistake on the screenplay writers' part.

Certainly wouldn't label this as fluff or anything in that realm. It was not silly or mushy, but heartfelt, an intimate window into the world of Abe/Nuala that was as close to the movieverse as I feel is achievable and quite well written. I truly hope you write more concerning the two. You are a very talented author.

As always, this is wonderful. The entire series you've begun is wonderful, and I really hope you write at least a few more. Besides wanting more Abe and Nuala, I'm really interested in how the legal issues are dealt with, and of what becomes of Nuada.

In any case, I'm now entirely convinced that everyone involved in the ending of Hellboy II made a great, collective mistake. Now that I've read these three fics, I can see how much lost potential there is in having Nuala die. Had the film ended as "Broken" did, I would have been dying to see the next sequel before the credits had passed. Instead, I was sitting there wondering if it had really ended so abruptly, without even giving poor Abe a chance to grieve.

Back to the story at hand - I didn't find it too fluffy. I'm somewhat sensitive to fluff, and it didn't bother me at all. Perhaps because it was all so in-character. Abe was particularly ... Abe-ish.

And, my favorite line; "... as if their joined hands were the heart of one single creature that was both of them." It seems to reference her link to Nuada, and how they 'ought to have been one person.' Except, of course, that Nuala's relationship with Abe is far healthier. ;)

Excellent work of words. Thank you again for sharing it.
