I love Lea, parts of his personality just really shine through as Axel but they aren’t exactly the same either. The dynamic between him and Reno is just amazingly done. I loved it when they ran off from Tifa and Cid standing up for her was cute.

The conversation with Lea and Kairi was awesome. It really adds to the suspense and I just kept thinking now’s your chance Lea you better listen to her. Man, if Leon only knew what Kairi really was.

On a side note I think Yuffie in now my new favorite character. Thanks so much for the long chapter!

It took me a quick minute to realize it but Lea is the somebody to Axel's heartless, right? That kinda makes me a little sad, because that means he's probably going to die. I do like how his friendship with Yuffie is developing and maybe it will give Leon a kick in the pants so he'll realize how great she is.

AW Tifa and Reno? Really?? That would be so great... :)

And it was very nice of Yuffie to offer to pay for Lea's weapons. It is also nice that she has found a friend of her own age.

Another great chapter, but I am still wondering what the hell happened with Leon and Yuffie...but I suppose I will just have to wait until you want to tell us.
I love the fact that Reno is in this story, he is one of my favorites from FVII!

Oh, the arrival of "Lea" has killed me dead. With the way the other cities are ignoring Leon's call to arms it makes me wonder if they get destroyed before the events in the game.

The interaction between Reno, Lea, and Yuffie is absolutely priceless. My favorite part is probably:

“Feh,” says the guy under her, bucking slightly to make her get off. “Our daddy taught us you die during childbirth.”

“Your dad was a hermaphrodite?”

“No, he got drunk and fell off the roof while our mother was in labour. She had to drag his body into the back of the truck and drive herself to the hospital, and then check the both of them in before ordering the orderlies to get her some damn painkillers.”

and lo, is this a new crush developing for Yuffie? (oh my dear, how your heart will break).

and I can't wait to see where the next chapter takes us!

Oh man! Reno and Axel my hero! I love how you write them but then that’s not a surprise since characterization is your specialty. The fact that they’re brothers makes it even better.

I love it when you introduce new characters just because it’s such a treat to see how you portray them.

There were so many awesome lines in this chapter. I loved this: “They name’s Lea,” he drawls. “Spelled L-E-A, but pronounced ‘lay’ – as in ‘good for a’.”

Also the whole chemistry with Yuffie, Axel, and Reno was just so well done.

Oh you didn't! *rereads* Oh you did! Axel when he was a somebody appears! I always knew those two were related. His name always gives me trouble though. They must have named him before coming up with the rearranged name with an x thing. I named him Lae, personally. Not a whole lot you can do with his name. And he would very much suit being a Turk. I like how you keep relating the events to Kairi's age though. How old was she when she went to Destiny Islands again?

Anyway, just occured to me that I've been faithfully stalking your fic all this time and haven't given you any means for reply.

Aaskghadgdg, Kairi's FIVE now? How time flies (sort of). Crap... One more year to go, then.

Man, Leon's really really trying, isn't he? Well, at least he warned them. ‘mistreating the poor genetically abnormal emu’ knocked my socks off.

For some weird reason, my mind went to Reno immediately after reading the title. I was not expecting Lea to be introduced that way, but he and Reno make interesting brothers. And Turks, too. Their double teaming Leon was funny. The de facto defense leader gets really pissy around troublemakers, doesn't he? And Yuffie and Lea are kinda cute. XD

There are a few small kinks like missing punctuation marks, but they're totally minor and the chapter's still great!

Holy moly, Axel's here! *Ahem* I mean...Lea...yes...him...

And we all /know/ what happens to him - can't wait for the dramatics there!

And I can't believe this is chapter 57...this story sure has come a long way!

Ah **, I've been keeping an eye out for Sephiroth on the horizon since I know the bugger's out there, and now I'm puzzling through that damn prophecy and figuring things out.

Just got one thing to say. Please don't kill Zack again? Poor guy dies enough in fandom already. And he's really adorable?

I love how ominous everything is! As if it's slowly heading toward KH..the prophecy is very creepy to me. I noticed that Cait said Cloud was the WARRIOR, but it looks like the warrior and the swordsman might separate people, even if Cloud doesn't think so..

So..maybe the swordsman would be Zack? And I read it like his two lovers, Aerith and Cloud, would..forget him?

D: You know we're just waiting to see how you get everyone all split up in the end.. D: I'm already starting to wonder if you'll focus on them DURING the game, or even if all of them will make the trip..!
