i don't really mind it, but artemis in your story, seemed different. i just read the time paradox a few days ago. BUT as you have stated, artemis recovered the 3 years he lost in 1 year. so there is the explanation to my observation.

A thoroughly enjoyable piece. How you manage to keep popping these things out astounds me. It seems you haven't been updating much, recently, but I'll be waiting eagerly after the seventh book comes out, in case you get some further inspiration.

A fitting follow-up to the events of The Time Paradox :)

A bit OOC in the dialogue, particularly the second half when they talk of trust and /the kiss/, and also when she mentions his hair/stubble - I don't feel that's something she would have mentioned aloud; it would seem more like Holly to observe it and think it to herself. But no harm done :)

I loved this sentence:
“I’m looking at me,” he said, “but you are not looking at me. Why is that, if I may ask?”

Oh, and I have to agree with you in thanking Eoin Colfer for bringing us TTP to make up for Minerva xD

I am a huge Artemis Fowl fan myself, and I've always wanted to write some ArtemisxHolly fanfiction. But I never thought I'd read a piece as brilliant as this. :3 I have read others, but this stands out from all the rest. Brilliant job! :)

And I totally agree with you! Eoin Colfer made up for that Minerva with the sixth book! lol Even I didn't like her much; she was too ... "perfect", ya know? Besides, I couldn't care less about what others say about how Holly is too old or different species blah blah, she and Arty just kinda goes together in a way that is hard to explain, and your fic sort of nailed that part I think. :D

So, great one-shot and now I'm off to check out your other fics! XD
