Your story is wonderful. Short fic, but explains a lot of Snape. He's my favourite character in HP world, and he was my favourite far beyondthe movie... Oh mum made me two eyes and other useful stuff, and I love handsome men... But I think that you've caught real Snape's soul. Whan I read, i think to poor man... Voldenort is goin' totrure him, I suppose... poor Snapie !

Why would people flame you? There's nothing wrong with this and it's far above the usual 'Hermione fights Ron but in the end they make up and perfect Harry saves the whole fucking world' stories I see on .

I love Snape! He has become my absolute favorite character and I cherish all the small bits of characterization you can pick out from the books especially the "Are you ready?" part. I completely agree with you, Potter and the forces of Light get all the glory and the man who goes through all the angst and pain gets called a slimy git. And he probably is one, but that's not the point. It's all Potter's fault. Seriously, he's the one with the most knowledge of the dark side and he's willing to enter it again in order to save all the oblivious fools. It really shows strength of character to be able to turn away from Voldemort and renounce evil. Plus, Harry and Co. are much too one-sided, only good whereas Snape has all that lovely shadowy angst to explore. Keep up the good work. (If you've noticed, I'm gradually reading all your work and I think you're a great author who has some great insight into the HP world).

Superbly angsty. You have exactly the same idea as I do about Snape's flight to Dumbledore from the Death Eaters - that just he wanted death, that was all he deserved. Redemption really is a key issue around Snape isn't it? It is almost as if Dumbledore forces redemption on him. I always thought Snape got the best lines, then we find out so much about him in PoA and he becomes fascinating - and he is portrayed by the beautiful Alan Rickman - those hands...that voice...who can resist?

Yep. you really like the Slytherins, don't you? You write about them a lot and they're all cool towards to Slytherins. I think I like them better after reading some of your fics!
