Sad. So utterly sad. I think it hit me even harder as I really wasn't anticipating this, even with the summary hinting at this being a lot less funny than your other stories I've read so far. But, quiet a lot like Draco, I thought Harry would leave the blonde, would find himself a new life or even go back to Draco, once that one understood what he did and bettered himself. But dying? I never contemplated that.
Nonetheless, it was perfect in its own kind of way, especially the metaphor of Draco kicking away the stool Harry stood on in his moment of death really go to me.

Aww... I'm sorry, this had me in tears... It was so sad, and yet, I know oh-so-well what it feels like to be in Harry's position, yet in a slightly different sense, so this hit me really close to home...

A few other words that really add to this story are, to me at least, the words of the bride of "Everybody's Fool" by Evanescence: "Without the mask, Where will you hide? Can't find yourself: Lost in your life... I know the truth now - I know who you are, And I don't love you anymore... It never was and never will be, You don't know how you betrayed me, And somehow you've got everybody fooled; It never was and never will be, You're not real and you can't save me, Somehow now you're everybody's fool..."

But, really? no more songfic? but this was so tragically beautiful! And there are some songs where I think it would be either a) a real challenge to write a fic based off of them, and b) you could come up with some pretty damn compelling plots from some songs out there... Like this one, for example...

Anywho, getting back on track, this was sad, but absolutely stunning. Loved it!
