I love the banter between the group, and it's nice how Vasquez is taking ages to get to sleep, and the excuse is good.
I'm greatly intrigued by this story and I know that you'll keep up the good work. Good luck on clearing the writer's block and I happily await any more updates.

It's detailed, whioch shows me you've put a lot of work into it. I'm not sure what a freezer burn is. (XD) Over all I'd say that it's well written and looks like things could start getting very dramatic...on to chapter two! ^^

Okay, you just threw me for a loop. "Unseal the hushed casket" was the password to open Master Chief's cryopod in Halo. Hm.

Anyway, Ripley and Hicks together--that is so SWEET! But, I can't help but think that there is a lot more to this planet than waterfalls, cicadas, and earthworms...

Yay! As you know, I'm already loving this. Vasquez's perspective of Hudson's physical appearance was great, as was the 'need any help?' moment. Can't wait for the next chapter, and kudos to how in-character Ripley and Hicks are. You're doing an awesome job, humanbel. Can't wait for the next chapter. :)

Very good attention to detail if I may say so. Your ending note had me intrigued. If you have ever seen the first Alien, then you will know that The Nostromo's shipboard AI was called Mother. But hey its your story and to be honest with you, I wouldn't change it for anything. Keep it up my friend.

I'm liking it so far. I'm very curious to read how vasquez and hudson survived and what new adventure you're going to take them on in this story. My only complaint is that I wish the chapter was longer. other than that great start.
