This is the best Vince fic I have ever read (albeit I have only ever read 2)and it was so sad! I was in mental tears at the end. But I ant to know...did erton knw he was there at the end? Could Merton still see Vince? Did he still believe? I love the background info...the part about Tommy is an interesting bit. Were they predestined, right at that moment, to become friends? Write more Vince/Merton!

I read this when it first went up and enjoyed it immensely. Then I read it again today, after watching 'Drop Dead Fred' again at the weekend, and now I absolutely adored it! Well done, this was a fantasically written piece with an original idea.
