I've read a couple of your works before, and I've liked all of them. The Neji fic in the 20-Truths format was the first thing that I think I ever read from you, and since then, I've just gone through everything that you've written. Why don't I review? Uhm, I keep forgetting to. . . ^^
Now: I liked the way that you tied everything together-the Sielnt Fever thing being the reason why Itachi is so quiet? Brilliant.
I also like the way that you made everyone underestimate him, and then he just breezes through all expectations.
And the mistake that Fugaku made with the scrolls, it fit in *perfectly*!

Wonderful. Although- wouldn't Mikoto have taught Itachi to read? I can see Fugaku being strict, and not explaining the Sharingan, but shouldn't Mikoto pay more attention to her first born, especially since Sasuke has not yet been born?

Whoa. I always considered Itachi a prodigy among prodigies (and therefore was really disappointed with the Sasuke vs Itachi fight), but I never considered the possibility that he could be such a genius that all think he's an idiot.

Also, that was really awesome with in chapter 2 with the animal parts. Like I said before, I always thought Itachi was so powerful not only because he was a genius, but because he had all the resources of the Uchiha Clan at his disposal. The idea that he was so brilliant that he learned how to fight from observing nature (like a normal, regular animal)...

Your version of Itachi, in all of your stories, is deffinetly the perfect shinobi.

This is really, really good! I like your take on Itachi's early childhood, especially the part where his observations of the local wildlife show him how to win the fight with the older Uchiha boys. The only thing that doesn't fit is Shisui being one of Itachi's tormentors, since they're best friends in canon (otherwise Itachi wouldn't have been able to get the Mangekyou from killing him). Other than that, this is a great story!

Very good, the way you capture the unnatural oddness of a young Itachi. Its a shame there aren't that many 'good' stories about his background.

Itachi=favourite character all the way in the Naruto universe. Great to finally see a fic solely about him. It's a pitied he died for that waste of a bro. Hope this continues =)
