I just resaw that episode today and I see alot of similarities from my sister to Azula so I really feel for Zuko...anyway, just saying I understood the looks on Katara's and Zuko's face as they saw this proud strong woman break down from sheer madness and pain. It brought tears to my eyes.

Watching Azula break down was terrible. Once a proud warrior, reduced to insanity. Short fic but very powerful indeed

Oh, you should have made this a tragedy. Even though we all hated Azula, the end to her story was tragic.

You were so right about how Katara shouldn't have interfered. As I was watching the finale, I was yelling at Katara "No! Go Away! You're going to ruin everything!"

But this was really great writing

This was very good! I think this is in-character. I like that she didn't think she should have interfered with what was going on between Zuko and Azula - and I agree with her (and you) on that.

oh very insightful and touching. It describes something I don't quite know how to...the feeling of sympathy or pity for someone trapped in the downfall of their own making. "something greater lost than pride."

Finally, some one was able to articulate why exactly that scene had me so utterly depressed. (My younger sisters thought I was nuts)

Truly amazing. I'm glad someone was able to find the words for it.

Katara's way of acting towards Azula is strange. I too hate the fact that she interfered where she was not meant to. And then I read the book and she's all "take that CRAZY" when she is chaining Azula like an animal. Sadly, I do not think that Katara pities Azula :_( (but that's because I believe Katara is a PMS!betch XD)

I really wish your way of portraying Katara here was the one made by the writers... It sure would have changed everything.

That took my breath away. It is very good. I felt so bad for Azula in the finale even though up to that point she did try to capture Zuko and Aang up to that point. I really liked it, it was very well written! :D

I liked that line. Very true.

Short, when I think you could have done something longer, if you had thought about it. Still pretty good, especially for expressing your opinion about Azula.
