This story is amazing and more than wonderfully written. It saddens me that it's been two whole years since you updated, but if you've been working on chapter 15 during all that time - it's going to be...orgasmic! Hehe :)

I haven't found myself to be interested in Raphael/Cassandra until recently. Good thing your story was the first one I clicked when I searched for that paring's fanfiction, cause now I'm hooked! You have ALL the characters personalities played out PERFECTLY, and even through Cassandra's dark transformation you managed to keep her spunky attitude in tact. And, needless to say, Raphael's dominance was never lost, you should be VERY proud of that, as well as Anysia.

Even though it's been a long while since you updated...I have faith that you'll keep going. I think you know that this story is way too good to just abandon it.

Ah, the wait is gonna kill me though!

I'm going to say this thing only in a few words, because i don't trust my connection (i wrote a VERY long review two days ago, but if you can't see it you can imagine what happened): your story is beautiful. Really, it's scary and horrible and i couldn't sleep the night i read it. Is always terrible to see the ruination of a person, real or not; above all if an author has the ability to write a good dark fic, and not so many writers can do it. Your Cassandra is IC, and even in a dark version she is still lovable and "too much alive", as Amy said in chapter 11, if i dont' mistake.

As for your Raphael, only one word: wonderful. Often we forget in the Soul game that after all he is a monster, even if handsome and charming.

Why don't you continue the story? it's a pity that one of the best fanfiction i've ever read is not finished .Honestly, i'm frustated because not knowing how it ends, so many questions are open: will they finally fall in love each other? This one above all. Will ever Amy accept Cassandra? And what will happen if Raphael meets Sophitia? :3 I have my own theories, and i want to see if i'm right with a new chapter :). Sorry for the not so few words, but i couldn't resist. Bye!

Oh. My. God. This story is so awesome! I love Soul Calibur and all of the characters and their own twisted ways. I have to say Raphael is one of my faves next to Nightmare and Yun-Seong. I plan on writing my own Soul Calibur fanfic about Raphael, only him and my OC, and this has really helped in inspiring me to begin. Unfortunately, I have 3 other fanfics i am currently working on, lol. Anywho, I noticed that you havent updated in over a year and I really hope you continue this story. I love it and I can't believe how much it has me hooked. If you do, I can't wait for the next chapter! XD

I just had a two hour reading spree and DAMN! I love this fic! I wasn't a big fan of Raph/Cass to begin with, but I can safely say that I have been converted! And to think this all started with remembering "Oh, November 27 is Raphael's birthday!" and then searching for pics and stumbling upon the one you posted on deviantArt. Keep up the great work!

Finally! I'm done. This certainly is the best chapter from all the others. Suddenly Tira became my favorite evil character villain in SC (even though I never play her in the game, but I like her). From my last review, until now, I am right. You are the best. You're better than my favorite authors on my list. Actually, your the only author who's putting her soul into this story and is committed. I've read those that I thought were committed but disappointed me, but you didn't. You surprise me! You have skill girl, great skill (including Anysia)

I see Cassandra and Raphael as a perfect dark couple. I like Cassandra's stubbornness and uncontrollable urges that make her seem crazy with power hehehe. Raphael is a sharp, serious and calm person that make him seem so desirable and rich. The man is irritable (_) Amy is a cute and caring little girl, even though she hates Cassandra for getting more attention from her father, I still like the girl. From her facial expression in the game, it's hard to tell if the girl is evil or not. So it work either way with me, don't mind if she is evil or not.

Also, I've read the story that inspired your work, 'In his Image' was it? Love it, great and quick.

I know it takes more than weeks to complete one chapter (been there-_-), so I'll be waiting patiently for the next chapter. I can't wait! In the meantime, I'll probably be reading other Cassandra fic. Until than, love and hugs.

Field of Innocence

Okay... How do I start this, perhaps I did!

Anyways, I have been reading this story for about five days (I think, or maybe more), and I have concluded that even though I have yet made it to the latest chapter (which I will, eventually, because I have school and preparation for senior-_- _) this story is the best story that I have ever read from Fanfiction! The pairing, the plot, the action, horror, angst, mystery, and gore! It is vivid in my mind every time I read a chapter. It feels real and touching. The blood and gore was very descriptive and straight forward. I have read couple of stories with your writing talent but was a bit disappointed with too much detail and boring cliff hangers. Plus, the good writer with fantastic stories stop updating(the stories that I always chose), they all seem promising but unfortunately they all stop updating or on "Hiatus" (supposedly).

Cassandra and Rapheal are lack of favorite in Soul Calibur but I support them. Cassandra is my favorite character in Soul Calibur, while Rapheal is my sister's favorite. I didn't found out about Amy until I read his profile on SC 2, it also surprise me that she was in the game for SC3 and SC4. I didn't see her new form until I got SC4 because SC3 was on PS2 (something like that) Anways, back on the story, I love it, I love it! Very dark and angst. Don't stop writing, I'll be waiting for the next chapter.

Another thing, I read one of Anysia stories and they are great, also review one of them. You two make a great team.

there's not much i can add here that hasn't already been said. this is *HOMGWOW* good.

there are so many things done well but what stands out, i think, are the dreams and visions - not only are they strong scenes in their own right but the way they are integrated - so smoothly it becomes difficult to discern reality - adds a layer of dissonance that is just right for darkfic.

the way in which Soul Edge and Holy items work - how they affect people, and how they affect each other - is well-developed too. sometimes - especially in this last chapter - it feels like you've put more thought into how they work than the game developers themselves.
