Did Harry summon, what's it's name?, Chutulu? Or did he turn *himself* into some kind of Lovecraftian horror of the depths?

Nice work, by the way. Not entirely Lovecraft-like, from what little I know of that author's works, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

Sorry, but it just doesn't. The characteristics of lovecraftian writing are obscure/outdated words, used while telling very little. Allowing the reader to fill in the blanks themselves, which leads to a more frightening style of writing than just spelling it out.

I'd like to read more of this story. You did a terrific job emulating Lovecraft's style. I have a couple of collections of his short stories and enjoy reading through them from time to time.

Perhaps you can write a Harry Potter story similar to Lovecraft's "The Dunwich Horror", one of my favorites.

Liked it so far, although I still don't understand why would Lovecraft always depict sea creatures as evil.

If it's you, I have faith that this will turn out entertaining.

Well, pretty accurate. Though Lovecraft would have made it longer I guess. But the structure is about right.

This was very interesting. I haven't read any H.P. Lovecraft but this makes me want to read some. I like how it tells just enough and you get to fill in the gaps...which really aren't gaps at all. Very fun...and I love how dark it is. Very nice touch!
