This is the tenth time I've read this, and it still makes me cry...

...I must admit, the blurb at the beginning threw me COMPLETELY off... not terribly informative, I didn't know if it was just anouther Ziddy Dag fic or not... *shivers* ...I looked at the title, thought... sounds like a black mage thing... so I looked at it. And... wow. Just... wow. Very well written- very sad! Aw! Gods to know of the moment of your own death... to see it looming over the horizon, just a few twisting moments away... I know from experience it's hard to write for a black mage without them going into despair... to find a last meaning in your life... magnificent. my congratulations... poor vivi. (remind me to post my theory of mage/genome symbiotic immortality somewhere...) heh. good job again...

Wow, I don't usually read Final Fantasy 9 fictions as I tend to find them a tad on the dry side, but yours has changed my mind entirely. I love this story, and I hope that you continue to write more like it!
