OMG! That was SO good. You are a fabulous writer and I really enjoyed this oneshot although I was so worried that this was going to end in tragedy. But it didn't (yay!). It was very heartwarming and you captured the personality of Kaname and how when he loves a person he loves them unreservedly and completely which in this case was Zero. Very good fic.

I was about to have a heart attack while reading the beginning because I thought Zero might die or something. I'm relieved he didn't because it wouldn't only break my heart but also Kaname's heart too :D

While I'm sorry to hear about your fiance, I love this story. The anguish that Kaname feels while waiting for Zero to wake up. Feeling guilty for not being able to protect him... aw.

I adore this line 'The machine may breathe for you, but I will suffer nothing but my heart to sustain you' It just makes me melt into a pile of mush.

And this one too 'My heart beats for both of us, but your heart beats for me. If it stops, so will mine.' You really have a way with words. The simplicity, yet poignancy of those sentences really leave an impression. It's laid out very obviously: Kaname cannot live without Zero.

Wow, that was so beautiful and poetic. I was at the edge of my seat reading this the whole time. A few weeks ago, I also visited a friend of mine who was hospitalized in the physc ward, as she went off her meds and was totally delusion. I was so worried about her, as she was living off in a world away from reality, thinking everyone was against her. I wrote some Tales fics to cope, so when you write about being in that state where things are difficult, its completely understandable. I hope things are okay for you and your loved one.
