Wow. Very nice take on Jack. I think you nailed his reaction and made a very plausible explanation for it. I also think our Sam would have been that understanding of his feelings. Eventhough he wasn't her Jack, he was still Jack. Nice job.

This episode sounds very interesting. And Charlie being still alive, or dead in the other timeline, yes that would have come as a shock for this Jack. Not much is said, but we get a lot of character building here. Great!

Wow. I never thought about that part in the movie. Although I did wonder why Alt. Jack didn't make another appearance in the movie, and I think in it's own way this fic explains that.

Good story. You did Jack very well. His abrupt honesty to Carter about the difference 5 minutes made in his timeline was done really well. I thought the interaction between the two of them kept both characters "in character" and gave us an interesting perspective. Very enjoyable - thank you.

I've been reading your stuff for a long time-everysingle bit of Aftershocks 1 and 2, to be honest. I've been been having trouble with for a while now but I'm glad it's fixed itself because this was an absolutly amazing piece!

All of your work is, but this really captured that feeling of that little encounter, and I wish that it *had* gotten played out a little more, especially between Jack and Sam.
