This is by far the best story about the Uchiha that I have ever read. All three aspects (songfic, narration and story) blended beautifully. This was done so daringly, as I'm sure no one else has tried successfully to incorporate three different styles into one story, and it worked out amazingly.

I'd already reviewed this as DarkSideOfTheMoon - but I just read it for the third time and was blown away again.
There are some fanfictions which are lovely on the first read, but lose their allure after that. Yours retains its power and brilliance, every single time.

I can only attribute the lack of reviews to the fact that many see the length of this and are intimidated. I am so very, very glad I was not one of these. This story was the most beautiful story I have ever read - and Itachi was so real throughout it all, I now feel I know him - all through the power of your writing. You have a perfect understanding of his mindset and situation, and you have used it masterfully. Bravo. I truly hope your talent can one day be shared by all.

This was, by far, the best fanfic about the Uchiha clan that I have EVER read. I'm simply amazed by the sheer greatness of this fic. I can't even correctly put into words how excellent this fic is, and how much I love it. I was moved practically to the point of tears as I read this. And I think what amazes me the most is that it follows the plot of the manga to the mark, yet I still couldn't help but be surprised by the things that I KNEW were going to happen. It was absolutely amazing. Reading this fic was like reading between the lines of the manga, and getting the full story; finally knowing what was really happening behind the scenes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fic, and I am going to spread the word of this amazing story, because it deserves to be known to, and read by all. Excellent work, and thank you for writing this.

This was an incredible story. I loved your take on the few days leading up to the Uchiha massacre. I've tried to write a story like this but failed. Finally, someone showed Itachi in a squad of sorts. Of course, most of his "teammates" died but here it kind of proved how much Itachi despised fighting. Madara is truly an evil man. Also, I like how you used "Working Class Hero" to kind of the set the mood between parts. That's a great song regardless if you're listening to the original John Lennon version or the Green Day version. Great fic.

I really can't describe how wonderful that was. I have a whole new picture painted for me, one I want to believe. I loved the caring side of Itachi this showed. He was battling so strongly and keeping his emotions so hidden, it was perfectly realistic. Amazing job!
