Sickinely sweet keep it up!

It's almost been a year. You mean I'm NEVER going to findout what happened? WHY are you so cruel?

Before I start this, let me just say that I have been a literary editor for four years now so if any of this comes out wrong, blame the editting gene.

Okay, first off, I loved it. You have a clear, distinct voice that you keep in tact incredibly well. Not to mention you bring entire new dimensions to the characters such as Sokka plays guitar, and Aang despises when people litter. This is what makes an amazing writer is that they know how to add pizzazz to a generic character.

The one thing that confused me a bit was the conversations with themselves. If you could specify that, that would be very effective. I sometimes do it in my stories, though i don't think I'm an amazing writer.

Next, the dialogue is very good and funny, though there are some awkward moments, like when you have a character stumbling over words or stuttering.

One question is why did Toph suddenly become concerned about college at 2:30 am? I would think that you would want to build that up a bit.

Next thing on the agenda... KATAANG ALL THE WAY AND I DON'T KNOW WHETHER OR NOT I'D CONTINUE TO READ THIS IF YOU CHOSE ZUTARA BECAUSE THE TOKKA IS GREAT BUT I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S ENOUGH TO BALENCE OUT THE ZUTARA!

hahaha :D i just have to say that i love the

fact that Sokka is starting to have his subconcious

talk to him just like Toph X) hehehe, at one point

when Sokka can't take it anymore you should use his

line "My brain! It has a mind of it's own!" from the

Puppetmaster ;P

and awesome idea, stirring up some drama with Zutara

in this one, too ;) hehehe, i can't wait to see in what

form the guys come back from the camping trip in :P

hehe, i couldn't keep a straight face when Toph was telling aang about liking sickling romantic things. Just imagining sokka doing something for Toph was making me laugh.

Should be fun to see Sokka try and teach Toph how to play. And the new drama from Katara and Zuko really is a page turner.

OMG THE TENSION! Zutara or Kataang? Then the tokka, sokka has a great idea if it works out lol. But keep up the great work buddy!

oh the TENSION is right! Man, I'm practically shaking with anticipation from that ending! Nice job on the chap, I love the Sokka and talking to himself bit...I've actually posted a story like that called Inner Conflict, but it's in Katara's POV...with Aang. Naturally. I think everyone has some inner voice (or more than one) that are there pestering them before they make every decision...even if it's just whether and what to eat in the morning.

"Eat Cereal!"

"No, oatmeal!"

"Cereal's better!"

"Oatmeal's healthier!"

"Get a life, no one cares about 'healthy!' anymore!"

"Willing to bet?"

"Bring it on!"

Since the button is, in fact, RIGHT THERE, I figured I'd give in and actually write a review.

I really like this story. I liked the original one that this one is based off of, as well. Figured I'd let you know.

You do a really good job at keeping the characters in character while modernizing them. And Toph, in character when she's being mushy? For real? You handle it amazingly well, and I love reading your style. Switching between PoVs keeps it interesting, too.

OMG this story is so good, keep it up. I LOVE YOU MANDI(TORUH)!

wow, what a let down for Toph. After fighting herself and confessing, he falls right to sleep.

This was a heartwarming chap. Toph's fear of losing Sokka to College is truly realistic and I was glad you took this road. it is an issue they have to face, but i don't think our favorite meat-head will let us down.

Yes, that button is VERY handy. I wish readers would use it more often. It's not like it takes an enormous amount of effort...

Anyway, nice chapter. Ooh...I sense a Toph vs. Katara middle-of-the-dang-night-why-are-you-even-bothering-with-a-argument coming! Whoo! Way to create suspense...you're way good at that!
