Wow, that was really interesting. I feel bad for letting the email alert sit so long before actually going off and reading this. Very well written, I never would have guessed that this was originally a roleplay if you hadn't have mentioned it. Although, the two of you do have different styles.

I really like the chapter. It is very good and very intresting.

Wow. What a mind-blowing first chapter. Ugh, the fanatical reader in me is restlessly annoyed with having to wait for the next update -- it will be very interesting and most entertaining to see how a relationship (however twisted) might form between these two. Their interplay was certainly captivating - my eyes were glued to the screen. I could imagine that B, having encountered this "attractive" young man with brains and guts to match B's "mind fuckery", would find the impending meetings with Raito quite compelling -- a refreshing break from the probably dull prison life. I'd like to see how B thinks of these interviews while in his cell, waiting.

Some of BB's antics wrought quite a few chuckles out of me. Again love the witty humor Nilah's so gifted with (I haven't read anything of Mikanis yet - but I will in due tome!), and I love the simple logic behind B's sharp sardonic replies and vindictive thoughts. Raito's characterization here, like in Nilah's other fics, has an interesting approach. We were never really given to know how he was like before he went crazy with the death note save when he had lost his memories, but I imagine he was hard-pressed to show his naturally darker side while chained to L. I'm not too sure he would have been so cruel as not to warn the guards in the end -- he was such a goody-two-shoes, but I like this ending much better -- with Raito having the last laugh and yet allowing B to take his revenge -- even if his reason was that the guard's deserved the repercussions of their own stupidity. I just loved how you wrapped this up! Raito's such a love-able asshole and I'm sure B will soon be thinking along the same lines.
