This is a wonderful, exquisite story. The descriptive writing is excellent, as is the portrayal of the S/R relationship. I especially like the descriptions of the wings – magical tattoos indeed. And the final image of the wings carrying Sirius away when he died – so imaginative, sad and yet beautiful.

That was beautiful. Even if I wasn't totally obsessed with tattoos, I still would have loved this. Also, I understood Remus' tattoo perfectly fine, and I'm not a Latin nerd. I think the main point of the story and the "angelus" (clearly meaning angel) makes it quite obvious, if people would just pay attention. I don't think you needed to translate that, since you made it so freaking clear. :)

My cousin dared me to write a story about my least favorite pairing (again!) and I always take a dare so now I have to read as many Sirius/Remus stories to understand how most people would write about, and try write one.

But I must not fall in love with this pairing! I must not! NO!

This is very beautiful. I love that Remus got a tattoo after Sirius had gone and that the first one Remus had seen was the proof of just how long Sirius had been in love with him.
