I was picking through FF tonight and saw this. There have been a million (it seems) fics about them attending a ball but your stood out. The way you describe their thoughts and feelings is amazing. Very poetic. Well done.

Fantastic! Excellent dialogue--scarily, I could hear Ecklie's voice echoing in my room *shudder*. Beautiful description, very appropriate quotes...and oh, god, incredibly hot. I have to add that, because it is very true. Great job!

Great story! I laughed at what Sara was thinking about Ecklie when he offered her his jacket--it sounded exactly like something she would say--and when Grissom said he had Warrick call with the fake 419. It reminds me of when women have one of their girl friends call in the middle of a date with a new guy, and if the date's going bad, she can claim there's some crisis at home and go, only here it's Grissom trying to get away from Ecklie. And the smut part was hot. I look forward to reading your other stories.
