Mich 2001-11-11 . chapter 1 Finally, a realistic story! This is what love in the real world is all about. I've watched the man I love fall in love with another, and someday I'll move on too. Mad props for writing something true to life instead of fairy-tale romance that creates false expectations, then fails to live up to them. |
PeachSplatter 2001-11-10 . chapter 5 I like the writing style; to be honest, I don't think I liked the story as much as your other one. True, I'm not even a Sarah/Jareth maniac, because I like to think of her as one of many starry-eyed dreamers. But I think that if she ever saw the Goblin King again, it would be because *neither* of them were able to move on without the other. The idea of her actually being mature about finally making a decision and seeing it thrown in her face doesn't seem that believable for any woman I know-- rejection to that degree is awful, and I can't see myself or any of my friends hanging around and watching my/ their soulmate love another. Just my humble opinion; it doesn't reflect on your style in any way whatsoever. Keep writing. :) |
