Good start so far, I like how you wrote out what probably were the events that took place before Sheena was sent off to Sylvarant, and what might've been going through her mind. Well written too.

Why hallo thar!

It's pretty solid overall. The language flows well, and her personality is overall fairly solid. It felt like her fear (regarding volt) was slightly downplayed, but it's a hard thing to manifest on it's own. But, the story syncs in well with the pre-existing plot, it explains some of the unexplained, and it flows well.

My only negative comment is the line, "Sheena would’ve hugged him but she wasn’t that close to Tiga-sama and it would have been considered incredibly awkward and disrespectful if she had done so.", where the language seems... somehow awkward. Something a bit more simplistic might have conveyed it better. I don't know, it's most likely just a personal thing of mine.

Overall, pretty solid. I enjoyed reading it, anyways.
