I really like this fanfic! One of my favourites, but I believe you make a mistake in chapter 2 when you wrote

"We're going to have to go bathe soon," his mother said. "Mine and Severus's hair takes forever to make it look ungreasy."

I think you meant Jacek and not Severus.

A good fic . Quite well written, and captivating. You did a good job at capturing human reactions; so many people fail at that and making a good story cheesy and unreadable.

After reading your profile I must say that I hope you do get back into Harry Potter, your talents make a much appreciated addition to the fanfiction world. So many fanfics nowadays are just disgusting... Anyway, maybe after the next book (and Severus' charges are cleared

hey, good job. i really enjoyed this story, and i would love to see a sequal to it. you made severus and draco reasonably good people, but, unlike many authors that want to do that, you developed reasons throughout the story for them to act the way they did.

my only problem is that you oversimplified the emotional events. actually, i'm not sure if i can express this well, but here goes. the conversations where emotional stuff happened were not overly convincing. they felt scripted and unrealistic. also, people underreacted a lot of the time, or they reacted but you didn't describe it very well. i could see the feelings that you wanted taking place, because i'm pretty familiar with depression myself, but not everyone would be able to.

i'm not sure if the above makes sense. just there was something lacking in your writing style. keep working at it, you obviously have the tallent to become a truly skilled fiction writer.

That was a wonderful story. I enjoyed it very much.

Sorry for not reviewing any of the other chapters, I was just so *into* the story that I *had* to find out what happened next. Thank you so much for sharing this story!

I especially liked Ivan and felt so sorry for Snape for growing up the way he did. Also, I very much liked it how little Sev didn't want to turn evil and so he had to leave his 'mom and dad'. And finding out his real parents were loving yet killers of the peasants and raising him to be a killer. OUCH!

So great about Nathan though - the only one with enough guts/insanity to go against Voldemort like that. I liked that bit... ,') And Draco being the big brother LOL - I can just imagine him acting like a big brother still now that Sev is back to his right age... ,')

Draco must feel a bit awkward I assume - what with him being actually 18 and not 15 anymore.

Are the Dark Elves really what they claim to be? I hope so, for if they're in fact evil pretending to be nice until they're freed that's gotta give some problems. Speaking about Dark Elves - I couldn't help but imagine Ivan as a sort of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. Hmm... what's the 3rd form? Would he ever show it (to Voldemort just before he gets killed - being so enraged by him)?

It's great that Ivan is so loyal to Sev and I hope he will stay with him - as a sort of family... would be too bad if Sev were to lose him completely once he's doing a bit better...

Cool - Harry won't have to go back to the Dursleys! Very good! Who'd ever thought he'd willingly stay in Sev's orphanage?
