Oh nice fic! Long time i didn't read one about ShikaNeji and i found one incredibly good; yours! I like the idea that Shika and Neji are so in character, not OOC at all and that their relationship takes the time to be create like in real life.

some chapters are serious and some other fun and it's well balanced. The one when Neji was drunk was particularly funny! Nice!

I will follow what will come for sure!

Wow. So I just did a marathon reading of all 16 chapters and now I can't quite see clearly but that's okay! This was fantastic!! I really liked it. It was getting tense in the middle chapters but I was very, very happy to read this last one. I like the story and the tension you built up so nicely between the two. Great work.

This is an amazing story, and I absolutely love it. It's so very long, and it has such depth and emotion to it that I was literally tearing up when Shikamaru was rejected and cheering when they got together!

This was great, I actually felt aggravated for Shikamaru. I like that you didn't make him give into Neji right away. He was upset, it wouldn't make sense to up and fall into his arms right away. Very nice.

D'aww! Poor Shika! I hope he'll do okay soon and take the initiative and win Neji Back, even if it was all his fault to begin with - in fact, that's exactly the reason why he should be the one to win Neji back.

Will we have a chapter of Neji avoiding Shikamaru now? I hope so. It's be interesting to see how the two of them handle it.

Shika and Neji are one of my favorite pairings in the Naruto universe! I too came across them via another fic called 'Chrysanthemum' and after reading that (its incomplete and probably always will be) I too went in a rabid search for other fics of the sort! Talk about MAJOR disappointment! I could barely find any! Finding Shika/Neji is hard enough, but try finding well writing Shika/Neji! It's like looking for a needle thrown in the universe! Almost impossible! In any case, what I'm trying to say is that so far you have my attention! ^_^ As the boys have yet to interact I cant say if I'll love the story.

But so far the characterizations have been spot on and the plot thus far wonderful!

The problem that I've mostly encountered with most S/N fics is not that people write either of them incorrectly, more that people cant seem to write them INTERACTING correctly. Which, I really cant blame people...I mean, in the anime at least, those two barely talk to each other. And with both of them being geniuses their talks are hard to envision, let alone write. But I think they would always have a level of respect for each other, even if they did so grudgingly. XD

Anyway, I'm reading on and I'm very excited for more! -FG
