I don't think Jess is being a jackass, I think he's being a boy. Maybe I grew up with a bunch of jerks but this is one of the most accurate profiles for an 11/12 year old boy I've read yet. True, perhaps Jess doesn't fit that role logically, but there was always that kid in the class.

Anyway, great job so far Matt. Loved the clever connections you used for the new characters. Can't wait for chapter 2. :)
