CCWhite 2008-09-05 . chapter 1That was heart wrenchingly good. |
kirallie 2008-09-04 . chapter 1So is this a prequal to the song remains the same? Poor Dean!! Is Sam really seeing what is happening to Dean? How? |
catsnmorecats 2008-08-27 . chapter 1My goodness, your writing, woman, just rips me apart, the emotion you pack into each story. I could see it all happening, felt each brother's pain, grief, and hopelessness. Lilith goes right for Dean's weaknesses, playing off his insecurities, shredding his psyche with such horrid enjoyment.
Poor Sam, having to live with being 'tuned in' to Dean's hellish existence, and knowing he failed to keep his beloved brother from it. How ironic, too, that he needs hunting to block out the pain for awhile, when in the beginning he ran from it.
And that last line . . . Perfect.
Brava, V.! |
 newgal 2008-08-24 . chapter 1Wow! What a powerful story! |
Lisa Paris 2008-08-20 . chapter 1Well, you did warn us it was dark. Beautifully and bleakly written. I think the abandonement anxieties and issues are exactly the worse kind of torments for Dean. Along with his fear of Darkside Sammy. It's terrible that Sam can hear him screaming in his dreams. |
DreamBrother 2008-08-20 . chapter 1I've mostly shied away from Dean-In-Hell/post NRFTW fics because I think they'll be blah, the same old spiel, but I since you've kicked butt in the Numb3rs fandom, you deserve a click in the SPN fandom.
And my, you did not disappoint.
I think the key to the whole fic was that it was touching in its' simplicity - no over-use of words, descriptions, spoken wrds. Just everything where it should be, how it would be - Dean in Hell, Sam not.
Very well done :-) |
Vampyvii 2008-08-20 . chapter 1Quite eerie, creepy and, as you say, dark-- Just can't wait for Season 4 to begin, maybe giving Dean some blessed relief! |
raputathebuta 2008-08-20 . chapter 1W O W. Great imagery! *sigh* Our poor boys. Is it September 18th yet?! |
Halcyon Impulsion 2008-08-20 . chapter 1*wail* Decent writing and good description. The last line has a lot of power in it. Keep up the good work. |
