the rabid narusasunaru fangirl in me utterly rejects this, but the way you write always makes me feel like i can relate to it. the way sasuke can't express himself properly is so sasuke, but you still manage to articulate his lonliness and why orochimaru is the only one he can turn to...and not naruto, who is just...too late, i guess.

Really! The discription of Sasukes problems in a normal, non-tragic way makes it realistic and Orochimaru seems to be the perfect solution.

And we learn some relationships won't last forever!

Mature piece, touching and insightful and has that most astonishing of characters takes, a supportive and whimsical Orochimaru ( I like him allot)

I really liked this! It was beautifully written, and it was interesting because of the AU. For some reason, I liked this part, it caught my eye:

Loneliness was a kind of disease; the kind only pills could cure. Pills for pain, pills for sleep, pills for sadness; pills to speed things up and slow things down. He kept them in zip-lock bags in his medicine cabinet, downing a few when things began to get the better of him.

This was a lovely fanfiction. I really enjoyed it, anyway. Some others might not have, but I loved it.

But I should know that to expect less than the best from you does no justice. Really, all of your stories are great reads. This one though-- it really struck a chord.

uh. your writing always leaves me stunned and full of thought. it's really amazing and always something new, interesting and realistic. and i love the way you somehow manage to keep the ending so open for your own interpretation, it just makes the fics all the better.

also, i think exactly your fics made me so fascinated with OroSasu. it can actually be an amazing and real, although impossibly complicated, pairing and in all your stories that i've read, the both of them were written flawlessly.

it was also a real pleasure to read find some Naruto here ^^ he was a pure Naruto and the whole situation just seemed absolutely natural. i guess it wasn't made on purpose, but somehow it turned out a little bit like in the original story, because Sasuke chose Orochimaru over Naruto.

Your OroSasu oneshots always leave me somewhere between smiling and crying, ahaha. This one was closer to crying than smiling, because it's so painfully obvious that Sasuke's torn between the familiar life he's led, the one that has his friend and old flame in it--and this new life with Orochimaru where as he says he doesn't need pills to stay stable. (The OroSasu fan in me says he made the right choice!)
