Honestly, I'm not really sure what to say here other than it was just perfect. As always, your Fred voice is spot-on, which is so difficult. Loved the fragmented sentences, the stream-of-consciousness feel and most of all the imagery. And the incorporation of the "listen, listen, listen..." from Season 3 did not go unnoticed. I look forward to more of your writing.

Yet another good story from one of my favorite Angel writer (and that includes Joss Whedon because all he does is eventually depress me). I would have liked to see a bit more of what Spike had to say to Fred upon finding her, if only because I imagine Fred would have really paid attention to what William had to say after her attachment to Angel after Pylea. However, you did another wonderful job describing what Fred was feeling and offering a new perspective on a good scene.
