Poor Sam, being taken for Jenkins! At least the ghostie wasn't able to cover his tracks, leading Dean and John right to Sam. I hope they'll both recover from their injuries.

I fell in love with this story. Chapter two was amazing. I read it twice :)

Aack! I’m finally getting to read this...it’s been torture knowing it’s sitting here and not having the time to read it especially considering where you left us off last time.
You had so many great descriptions I don’t even know where to start. I loved the one with John silhouetted in the door. Also, when Sam woke in the cabin with the candle and the murky orange glow and I can’t forget Sam’s lip split like a watermelon…Ouch!
I loved the whole insult trading scene at the end…lol.
And “My pinky doesn’t hurt” lol.…(raiders of the lost ark?)
Great story and you were worried that it was whumping without plot! I think you got enough plot to make the whumping justifiable and I love the whole serial killer hitchhiker; course you know me I do like my villains crazy. They’re just so much more scary when they’re nuts.

And I love how Sam tried to fight back, at the end, buying enough time to not only help Dean but also give John a chance to take care of the spirit (or at least, get rid of it so they could get away).

Loved the interaction between Sam and Dean - their characterizations ring true, while still being age appropriate. And I really love Sam's need to try and save Dean, even though he's all banged up thanks to your nasty bad guy. *Hugs him * - Sam, that is, not the nasty bady guy. :)

The additions were seamless, adding welcome layers and complexity to your story.

The scene in the hut was really cool, I loved Sam attracting the ghost's attention to get it away from Dean. There's too little fics that show Sam's wilingness to sacrifice himself if necessary.

Also: Jen's making an audiofic out of your story?!? Oh happy day... that's awesome!! And I haven't read that one yet, too. *glee*
You should definitely post it on the gen podfic sommunity when it's done. It will get a lot more attention that way. Well, if Jen wants to of course.

Great ending! Lots of action, excitement, limpSam, and angsty Dean! Loved how Sam offered up himself to the hitchhiker for Dean in the cabin. Just love that about our sweet Sammy! He'd do anything for Dean and visa versa! Ah, Winchester Brotherlyness...yummy! Thanks for the fun read!
