Agreeing with Maiji below, it's very sad that you're not getting reviews. I love your take on the Klausians and their society, and also how Maria is starting to become used to living with people so different from her or anything associated to Earth. It's not only because culture class fascinates me, but I love the way you wrote it, in a very quiet and slow-paced way. It brings out so many things that would otherwise get completely lost.

And lord knows the Star Ocean fandom needs more good, intelligent fic like this.

Personally I think it's a little criminal that you're not getting any reviews for this, or for Run. Maybe it's because they're both "quiet", much more understated pieces and ... not really implicit in their themes and ideas, since I think it's very clear where you're going with this, but just not as "let's hit people over the head with it"/"everything needs to be mindblowingly epic". I really appreciate that. Great characterization on the parts of both Maria and Cliff, as well as the little touches on the aspect of experiencing different planets and ways of life.
